Shenzhen Medical Innovation
Since August 2021, delivering medical samples via dedicated aerial routes with 50% time savings and zero contamination incidents.
50% Faster
24/7 standby capability
Zero Contamination
Transforming Hospital Logistics in China's Megacity
Background :
Hospitals in Luohu, Shenzhen, faced a critical bottleneck in medical sample transportation. In a city of 15 million people, traffic congestion was creating dangerous delays in getting time-sensitive medical samples between hospitals and testing centers.
The Challenge:
-
Unpredictable delivery times due to mega-city traffic conditions
-
High contamination risk from multiple handovers in ground transportation networks
-
Critical delays affecting patient diagnosis and treatment decisions
-
Bio-sensitive samples (blood, COVID, flu) requiring special handling protocols
Our Solution:
In August 2021, we established China's first dedicated aerial medical delivery network using robust, all-weather octocopter systems equipped with UN3373-certified temperature-controlled dangerous goods packaging.
Technical Implementation:
-
Octocopter drones designed for medical cargo transport
-
Temperature-controlled packaging meeting international dangerous goods standards (UN3373)
-
All-weather operation capability ensuring consistent service
-
Simple operation protocols for hospital staff integration
Proven Results:
-
50% reduction in delivery time with deterministic scheduling
-
Zero contamination incidents since program launch
-
3+ additional aerial routes now operational daily
-
24/7 standby capability with 3-minute takeoff response
-
Complete elimination of delay penalties
Samples Successfully Transported:
-
Blood samples for emergency testing
-
COVID-19 test specimens
-
Urine samples for laboratory analysis
-
Other bio-sensitive medical materials
Ongoing Impact:
Three years of continuous operation have proven the reliability and efficiency of aerial medical logistics, with the network continuing to expand to serve more hospitals across Shenzhen.

Port of Antwerp Innovation
June 2024 breakthrough at Port of Antwerp: 83% time reduction with 80% fewer emissions in Europe's busiest port environment.
83% time reduction
80% reduction in CO2 emissions
Precision timing
First Commercial Petrochemical Drone Delivery in Europe
Background :
The Port of Antwerp, one of Europe's busiest ports, faced complex logistics challenges in transporting petrochemical samples between testing facilities and industrial partners.
The Challenge:
-
70-minute ground transport times between facilities
-
Strict European BVLOS regulations in congested port environment
-
Complex dangerous goods requirements for petrochemical samples
-
Variable timing affected by bridge closures and canal traffic
-
High environmental impact from traditional transport methods
Our Solution:
On June 13, 2024, we launched Europe's first commercial petrochemical drone delivery service, connecting SGS (the world's largest testing, inspection, and certification company) with BASF ferry docking areas.
Revolutionary Technology:
-
PW.Orca drone platform with advanced autonomous capabilities
-
Fully automated BVLOS operations meeting EASA regulatory compliance
-
AIS integration for real-time ship avoidance in busy port environment
-
UTM integration for seamless airspace management
-
Specialized dangerous goods handling protocols
Technical Innovation:
-
Smart routing over sparsely populated areas with moving ship avoidance
-
Weather-resistant operations maintaining schedule reliability
-
Real-time tracking providing minute-accurate ETA predictions
-
Automated safety protocols ensuring zero-incident operations
Transformative Results:
-
83% time reduction: From 70 minutes to just 12 minutes
-
Precision timing: ETA determined to the minute, unaffected by port congestion
-
Environmental impact: 80% reduction in CO2 emissions
-
Port efficiency: Reduced docking time increases overall port capacity and turnover
-
Industry leadership: European first in commercial petrochemical drone delivery
Transformative Impact:
This breakthrough demonstrates the potential for drone technology to transform industrial logistics while achieving significant environmental benefits, particularly important for the petrochemical industry's sustainability goals.
